The Poetic Communication

What a friend wrote -
_______________________________________________________

Well I’ve been saved by the grace of Southern charm
I got a mouth like a sailor and yours is more like a Hallmark card
And if you wanna pick a fight
Well I’m gonna have to say goodnight
I don’t have to be hateful, I can just say bless your heart...
...I’ll keep drinkin’
And you’ll keep gettin’ skinnier
I’m just like you
Only prettier
And here is what I replied -
____________________________________________________________
awesome and interesting are your lines
trying to now mix them up with mine
live on the edge to survive
the clock tick tells me its gonna be five...
if you wanna drink, drink water
it would keep your senses together
if its time to bid goodnight
I would prefer you to be in the sight
live on the edge to survive
the clock tick tells me its gonna be five
sit and chat is for the moment right
not the time that I would like to say goodnight
